Seeing Echoes in the Mind of the Whale
A large-scale video installation that extends our senses into the sonic realm of whales — bottlenose dolphins, humpback and sperm whales — blending hydrophone recordings, underwater videography and a custom generative AI pipeline driven in real time by sound. Its second incarnation, presented as part of Echoes of the Ocean at Fundación Telefónica, expanded the work into a 12-channel edition alongside Plankton Temple, a kinetic glass sculpture and light installation that brought the microscopic architectures of plankton into the room.
