Stark Choices

An experiential futures installation built with Superflux for the Varkey Foundation, transporting educators, policymakers and students into two opposing future worlds shaped by automation. Across two deeply theatrical, immersive simulations — one a precarious gig-economy dystopia where everyone has been made redundant, the other its mirror — visitors lived the consequences of the trends shaping the future of work and education, and were invited to reflect on the territory between utopia and dystopia.
